Nuangola council president refutes claim she’s received payment for damages

"I want to see where I got the money," she said. "Fourteen months after the fact I still have damages."
Plodwick called the Times Leader Saturday to refute a comment made by borough resident
Crews corrected a damaged section of wall, she said, but her entire backyard remains "ripped up" from drilling and machinery, and her concrete driveway is still cracked and depressed from the heavy vehicles.
"I was against the sewer project to begin with," she said. "From day one, I was worried about this."
Plodwick said she's also installed an ultraviolent and sediment filter at her own cost -- and for which she was never compensated -- to correct for water contamination which appeared the night after bidirectional drilling began. The water was cloudy with black particles in it, and analysis of samples revealed it was unfit for consumption even if boiled, she said.
