North Carolina Department of Utilities Commission Issues Order Granting Authorized Suspension

RALEIGH, N.C., June 12 -- The North Carolina Utilities Commission issued the following order:

In the Matter of Bones Taylor Moving, LLC, 5700 Wintergreen Drive, Raleigh, North Carolina 27609 -- Request for Authorized Suspension of Operations

BY THE COMMISSION: On June 12, 2014, an email from Bones Taylor Moving, LLC, Raleigh, North Carolina was filed with the Commission requesting an authorized suspension of operations under Certificate No. C-2560 from February 3, 2014 until February 3, 2015. Upon consideration thereof, the Commission is of the opinion that good cause exists to grant the authorized suspension as requested.

IT IS, THEREFORE, ORDERED as follows:

1. That Bones Taylor Moving, LLC, be, and the same is hereby, granted an authorized suspension of operations under Certificate No. C-2560 from February 3, 2014 until February 3, 2015.

2. That, prior to resuming operations, the above-named motor carrier, that is the insured, shall provide proof of insurance. Said insurance must be issued by an insurance company authorized to do business in North Carolina and shall reflect the exact same name as shown on the above-named motor carrier's formal certificate of exemption. The insurance coverage that must be in force and effect shall be as follows:

a. Vehicle liability insurance filed with the Division of Motor Vehicles with the minimum limits of coverage being $100,000/$300,000/$50,000 for all motor vehicles used in the transportation of household goods with a gross vehicle weight (GVW) of 26,000 pounds or less. For such vehicles with a GVW of 26,001 pounds or more the minimum coverage amount is $750,000. As proof of such insurance there shall be filed with the Division of Motor Vehicles a certificate of insurance Form E and a copy of said Form E or facsimile thereof shall be provided to the Commission's Chief Clerk's Office by the insurance company of the insured.

b. Cargo liability insurance filed with the Division of Motor Vehicles with the minimum limits of coverage being $35,000/$50,000. As proof of such insurance there shall be filed with the Division of Motor Vehicles a certificate of insurance Form H and a copy of said Form H or facsimile thereof shall be provided to the

Commission's Chief Clerk's Office by the insurance company of the insured.

c. General liability insurance in the minimum amount of $50,000. A Certificate of Insurance proving such coverage shall be provided to the Commission's Chief Clerk's Office by the insurance company of the insured. The certificate holder section of said Certificate of Insurance should be completed as follows:

3. That the above-named motor carrier shall notify the Commission by letter in the event that it: (a) desires to resume its operations under its above-noted certificate number at a time prior to the authorized suspension end date, February 3, 2015, or (b) needs an additional suspension of its operations beyond the authorized suspension timeframe approved herein.
