New PASS(R) Facility Insurance Assessment Tool Debuts for PGA Professionals
| Targeted News Service |
The program was developed in partnership with the PGA Preferred Golf Course Insurance Program, so that PGA Professional-staffed facilities can take proactive steps to help reduce the probability of future claims.
"The PASS assessment tool gives PGA Professionals and their facilities an opportunity to know any potential risk factors for their clubs, golf shops, stores, offices and workplaces," said
Specific criteria about the facility are input online into a state-of-the-art assessment program, which allows PGA Professionals to proactively identify and better manage exposures that are unique to their facilities. The program breaks down the following areas of exposure to better identify the risk attributes unique to each of them:
* Golf Course Security
* Golf Cars
* Club Management
* Facility
* Vehicle Operations
* General Liability
* Environmental Liability
* Pool, Fitness &
If areas of improvement are identified, PGA Professionals are able to review a library of resource documents that can be used to research the weaknesses found in the assessment and look for ways to improve the safety of their facility. They can also call upon a licensed PGA Preferred Golf Course Insurance Professional to help evaluate their facility's score.
"The PASS assessment can deliver tangible results, in terms of fewer claims, and that leads to more consistent renewal pricing," said
PGA Professionals and their facilities can visit www.pgapreferredgolfcourseinsurance.com to complete PASS and view the document library.
