James Nelson, a reinsurance executive with more than 30 years of experience, has joined U.S. RE Corporation as Senior Vice President, Tal Piccione, Chairman and CEO, announced.
Nelson served more than 30 years at Guy Carpenter, where he rose from Treaty Broker to Managing Director. He began his career at Safeco before joining Carpenter in 1978. He was a Director of Balis & Company, which later became the Philadelphia office of Guy Carpenter. Throughout his career, Nelson managed major, commercial property and casualty accounts.
"We welcome Jim Nelson to U.S. RE's senior management team. He will play a significant role in the Company's current expansion," Piccione said.
Nelson holds a B.A. in Economics from Lafayette College and an M.B.A. from Rutgers University.
