Nationwide and Allied Insurance Help Customers with Damage Claims in Midwest and Mid Atlantic [Health & Beauty Close – Up]

Nationwide and Allied Insurance have claims representatives and agents actively assisting customers in response to damages caused by recent severe weather throughout the Midwest and Mid Atlantic regions.

As of July 1Nationwide and Allied Insurance reported that they have received 4,804 claims, the companies noted in a release.

Nationwide said that its catastrophe team is assessing damage to homes, businesses and automobiles throughout the impacted regions. The majority of the homeowner and material damage claims are the result of wind damage. Nationwide has activated the Nationwide Catastrophe Response Team and added additional claims representatives dedicated to assisting policyholders with claims, visiting losses and handing out checks on the spot.

Policyholders with storm damage should call the Nationwide and Allied claims hotline at 1-800-421-3535 or contact their local agent.

In the event of a policyholder needing to file an insurance claim, representatives are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week to assist them. To help expedite the process, the Company said it is helpful to have a policy number or home address available when the call is placed. Also, make note of any injuries received and any witnesses or police authority contacted in relation to property damage.
