National Leader in Cross-Coding Education Expands Medical Billing Seminars

PR Web

Tequesta, FL (PRWEB) February 28, 2014

Nierman Practice Management, the leader in medical billing for dentists, has announced six opportunities for dental practices to attend their renowned CrossCoding Seminar in 2014. CrossCoding: Unlocking the Code to Medical Billing in Dentistry, is a premier day and a half seminar, where attendees learn how to cross-code from dental to medical codes for many procedures such as dental sleep medicine, TMD, implants and surgeries.

“We make it interactive by playing learning games,” says Rose Nierman, founder of Nierman Practice Management. “Keeping the attendees engaged helps their memory retention. They are having fun while learning an invaluable skill to benefit their practice.”

By implementing medical billing into their practice, dentists are able to differentiate themselves from their peers, increase case acceptance, and grow their practice. A growing number of dental practices are helping patients get the care they need by expanding their services and obtaining reimbursements for these medically necessary procedures. In 2013, over $30,000,000 in medical insurance was billed electronically by dentists through the aid of Nierman Practice Management.

“Prior to attending this course, I always felt that medical billing would be too complicated to do at our dental office,” says J. Moulen, a recent attendee of the seminar. “Rose has changed my perspective. I'm excited to return to my office and begin not only medical billing, but also, helping my patients with better benefits for their dental needs!”

Although the majority of the attendees are office staff, Nierman Practice Management encourages the dentists to attend, stating that when a dentist feels confident knowing what treatments can be billed to medical insurance, they have a greater understanding of the impact it can have for their patients and for their bottom line.

Nierman seminars are accredited with the AGD PACE and ADA CERP programs, offering 12 CE credits for attending the cross-coding seminar.

About Nierman Practice Management Rose Nierman founded Nierman Practice Management in 1988 as a continuing education company, teaching dentists how to expand their practices with medically necessary services. Developed as a tool for implementing medically necessary procedures in a dental practice, CrossCode™ and DentalWriter™ software have revolutionized medical billing and documentation protocols. Nierman Practice Management has helped more dental practices collect medical reimbursement than any other organization.
