Midland National announces an increase to short-term rates. Five-year rates are the highest they've been this year -- now crediting a 5.25% interest rate effective June 23, 2008. That's not all -- Midland National is increasing commission on its MNL Guarantee PlusĀ® to 3%.

The MNL Guarantee PlusĀ® is issued by Midland National Life Insurance Company, West Des Moines, IA on form AC/AS086A or appropriate state variation.
