Sep 16, 2010 (Datamonitor via COMTEX) -- Marsh, an insurance broker and risk advisor, has named Eugenio Paschoal as CEO of Marsh Brazil, effective January 1, 2011.
Mr Paschoal will be based in Sao Paulo and will be responsible for driving Marsh Brazil's operating model and ambitious expansion strategy. He succeeds Thomaz Menezes.
Mr Paschoal has more than 25 years of insurance broking experience. Most recently he served as managing director of Willis Latin America and Caribbean. Prior to that, he spent 12 years as CEO of Willis Brazil.
Until Mr Paschoal's arrival at the first of the year, Renato Cassinelli, regional employee benefits practice leader for Latin America and Caribbean, continues as interim head of Marsh Brazil.
Alexander Moczarski, president of Marsh's international division, said: "We are thrilled that Eugenio has decided to join Marsh. His extensive knowledge of the Brazilian market and successful track record as a CEO will be invaluable as we seek to expand our operations in this exciting economy."
