Major League Alumni Hold Baseball Clinic for Young Players

KANSAS CITY, Mo., May 15, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Lockton Companies and The Hartford have teamed together to hold the Major League Baseball Players Alumni Legends for Youth Baseball Clinic on Saturday, May 18 from 9 a.m.-12 p.m. at Satchel Paige Stadium, 5050 Swope Parkway, Kansas City, MO 64130. This clinic is open to ballplayers from ages six to 16, but, at this time, has reached capacity and is only accepting names for a waiting list.

Former Major League baseball players will be on hand to teach fundamentals of the game in a multi-station format. Instructors will also stress the importance of education while teaching life skills.

Legends For Youth is a charitable program running more than 85 free events each year nationwide. Its mission is to promote the game of baseball to America's youth using positive sports images and personalities.
