MMIC Invests Further in Its Health Information Technology Division
NewsRx
This month, MMIC reaffirmed its commitment to providing technical solutions and managing cyber risk for hospitals, clinics and long-term care facilities by expanding its Health IT staff. Joining its ranks is John Woodward, vice president of sales, and Lynn Welch, senior communications consultant.
According to Niles Cole, the company's senior vice president and CFO who oversees the Health IT division, these staff positions were added to help meet customer demand for Health IT products and services, and to expand MMIC's reach in that market. "While many recognize MMIC as a successful medical professional liability insurer, there are others who are not yet aware of the depth and breadth of our Health IT offerings," said Cole. "We are looking forward to having John and Lynn change that."
