Legal & General Gulf Takaful launches in Bahrain

Legal & General Gulf Takaful will offer various life Takaful products through Ahli United Bank branches in Bahrain and ultimately the broader GCC region. Legal & General Gulf Takaful's wide range of life insurance products will include Shari'ah-compliant lifestyle-based savings, investment and life insurance plans (education, retirement and wedding plans), tailored savings plans (flexible and regular savings plans) and a pure life insurance plan (family protection plan). 

Legal & General Gulf Takaful's products are unit-linked plans (with the exception of one pure life policy). These products are offered based on a needs analysis approach: identifying customer needs and requirements and then selecting the most fitting product. 

Legal & General Gulf and Legal & General Gulf Takaful were granted their licenses and commercial registration by the Central Bank of Bahrain last year.
