Keystone Insurers Group Ranked 5th on Insurance Journal’s Top 100
Keystone Insurers Group, with premiums exceeding $1.4 billion, has climbed to No. 5 on the Insurance Journal's 2010 list of Top 100 Privately-Held Property/Casualty Agencies.
Keystone's 2009 property/casualty written premiums, the basis for ranking, increased 38.3 percent, while premiums other than p/c increased an amazing 97.4 percent to more than $185 million.
Colin Buzzard, executive vice president, said, "Keystone had a strong 2009. We were able to attract more than 30 new partners who had been highly successful on their own but who recognized that Keystone, with its increased opportunities, could help them reach that next level in a difficult economy. 2010 is trending in the same direction.
"It's great to see partners taking advantage of the resources Keystone provides for financial services, group, producer and sales development, captives, claims management and the like. Keystone has two prime directives: increasing shareholder equity and the value of our franchise partners."
