KBW Announces Changes to Property & Casualty Insurance Index (KPXSM)

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Keefe, Bruyette & Woods, Inc., a full-service investment bank that specializes in the financial services sector, and a wholly owned subsidiary of KBW, Inc. (NYSE: KBW), announces the following changes effective prior to the opening of business on Tuesday, March 6, 2012:

Property & Casualty Insurance Index (Index Ticker: KPX^SM, ETF Ticker: KBWP^SM)

• Removing TransAtlantic Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: TRH) due to acquisition by Alleghany Corporation (NYSE: Y).
• Replacing TRH with Alterra Capital Holdings Limited (Nasdaq: ALTE).
