InsureMe Announces 2006 First Quarter Results
Insurance Shopping Service Continues Exponential Growth
DENVER - May 2nd, 2006 - InsureMe, a company that puts insurance professionals in touch with consumers shopping for insurance, today announced its financial results for the first quarter of 2006.
InsureMe continued to expand on its explosive growth of 2005, with both revenues and profits up by 29 percent from the previous quarter. Site visits to the InsureMe Website increased by 64 percent during the first quarter. InsureMe also continued its high ratio of conversions from site visits to completed leads.
In addition, the number of insurance agents that use InsureMe insurance leads climbed steadily during the first quarter. As a result, the InsureMe agent base is now the largest in company history.
"InsureMe takes particular pride in the quality of our leads," stated Tim McTavish, president. "We don’t use pop-ups, spam or incentive programs to drive people to our site. The leads we produce are from people actively shopping for insurance, through search engines or by going directly to the site. This makes it easier for agents to convert leads into sales and is why our agent base continues to thrive."
"The first-quarter results are exciting," added Mike Sajdak, InsureMe chief financial officer. "InsureMe experienced its highest revenue to date during the first quarter. Our purpose is to help people find the right insurance, and from this performance, I believe that we’re accomplishing this goal."
