| PR Web |
Health Advocate™, Inc., the nation’s leading independent healthcare advocacy and assistance company, has been recognized in InformationWeek’s HealthCare List of “12 Cool Tech Innovations Keep You Healthy” for its Health Information Dashbord™.
"We are excited to be recognized by InformationWeek,” said
Health Information Dashboard is a feature of Benefits Gateway™, a proprietary solution that provides employees with a connection to all benefits through a single, toll-free phone number. The Health Information Dashboards use powerful algorithms to interpret data from multiple sources and provide a snapshot of key member information about benefits use and specific health indicators thus bringing to life the potential to boost productivity, lower medical costs and improve health outcomes.
The Health Information Dashboard™ is a complementary solution to Health Advocate’s core health advocacy service. There are three versions of the Dashboard:
1. Personal Health Advocate: The Health Advocate Personal Health Advocates (PHAs), nurses and benefit experts, who assist members with a range of clinical, administrative and insurance-related issues, use the dashboard information in real time, when speaking to members, to impact behavior and leverage “teachable moments.” PHAs provide recommendations for preventive screenings or “best practices” management strategies for those with chronic conditions.
2. Employee: The employee’s private and secure dashboard is an easily readable, consolidated snapshot of an employee’s health and benefits and features customized messages and alerts that the employee can follow to achieve their health goals. It is designed to keep employees engaged in making healthy choices and lifestyle changes.
3. Employer: The employer’s dashboard provides analysis on the company’s health-related spending and helps clients see how many employees are engaged and participating in the programs they offer, compare health behavior changes year to year, and more.
The Dashboard allows each party to have the right information at hand at any time. Together, Benefits Gateway and Health Information Dashboard simplify information and processes for employees and employers while allowing PHAs to engage employees in managing their specific health needs.
Health Advocate’s inclusion on InformationWeek’s list follows on the heels of the company making Deloitte’s Technology Fast 500 for the second year in a row, which is an annual ranking of the fastest growing, technology, media, telecommunications, life science and clean technology companies in
