Holistic Management Short Courses Planned for Southeast Minn., Northern Iowa

MINNEAPOLIS, Dec. 24 -- The Land Stewardship Project issued the following news release:

A series of Holistic Management short courses will be held in the Iowa-southern Minnesota region during the next several months. The workshops, which are being co-sponsored by the Land Stewardship Project (LSP) and Practical Farmers of Iowa, will cover financial planning, planned grazing and biological monitoring, among other things. The planned schedule is:

* Jan. 23-24: Introduction to Holistic Management, Ames, Iowa.

* Feb. 5-6: Financial planning with Holistic Management, northeast Iowa or southeast Minnesota location.

* March 21-22: Planned grazing with Holistic Management, northeast Iowa or southeast Minnesota location.

* June: Biological monitoring with Holistic Management, northeast Iowa or southeast Minnesota location.
