Today, Governor Susana Martinez announced appointments to the Athletic Trainer Practices Board, New Mexico Athletic Commission, Children's Trust Fund Board of Trustees, Board of Chiropractic Examiners, New Mexico Dental Board , Board of Dental Health Care, State Emergency Response Commission, Environmental Improvement Board, Board of Funeral Services, Information Technology Commission, Land Title Trust Fund Advisory Committee, Law Enforcement Academy Board, Livestock Board, New Mexico State Library Commission, Manufactured Housing Committee, Board of Trustees of the Miners' Hospital of New Mexico, New Mexico Music Commission, Board of Nursing, Parole Board, Physical Therapy Board, State Board of Licensure for Professional Engineers and Professional Surveyors Psychologist Examiners Board, Real Estate Appraisers Board, New Mexico Real Estate Commission, Risk Management Advisory Board, Small Business Investment Corporation and the Small Business Regulatory Advisory Committee, Board of Social Work Examiners, Spaceport Authority, Speech, Language Pathology, Audiology and Hearing Aid Dispensing Practices Board, Water Quality Control Commission.

Jose Barron of Roswell has been reappointed to the Athletic Trainer Practices Board. Barron has 19 years of experience as a professional athletic trainer and is the Director of Athletic Training for the New Mexico Military Institute. Barron holds a M.A. in Exercise and Sports Science, Sports Administration from New Mexico Highlands University and a B.S. in Athletic Training Education from New Mexico State University.

Gavin Pantoja of Albuquerque has been appointed to the New Mexico Athletic Commission. Pantoja is currently the Chief Operations Officer for Ablebelts/Swiftbelts and is the Chief of Officials for USA Boxing, Advisor, Vice President, Treasure, and Coach for the Mile High Little League. Pantoja holds a B.A. in Criminology and Economics from the University of New Mexico.

Kristi McLain-Cullers of Alamogordo has been appointed to the Children's Trust Fund Board of Trustees. McLain-Cullers is the Owner and Consultant for Cullers Consulting, a group dedicated to improving the quality of life for families, with a special interest in providing support services for foster and adoptive families.

Forrest Wayne Goforth, D.C., of Gallup has been appointed to the Board of Chiropractic Examiners. Goforth is the President of Goforth Chiropractic Life Center P.C. where he practices as a licensed Chiropractor. Goforth holds a D.C. in Chiropractic from Palmer Chiropractic College.

Robert Blewer of Albuquerque has been reappointed to the New Mexico Dental Board. Blewer is the founder and CEO of Blewer Scientific Consultants and worked at Sandia National Laboratories for over 40 years. Blewer holds a Ph.D., M.S., and a B.S. in Cryogenics and Solid State Physics from Louisiana State University.

Richard Hatch of Albuquerque has been reappointed to the Board of Dental Health Care. Hatch is an Attorney at Rodey, Dickason, Sloan, Akin & Robb, P.A., practicing civil defense litigation. Hatch holds a law degree from the University of New Mexico School of Law and a B.A. in Political Science and Spanish from Brigham Young University.

Penny Holeman of Albuquerque has been appointed to the State Emergency Response Commission. Holeman is the Facility Security Officer for Lovelace Respiratory Research Institute where she is responsible for the development and support of security and surety initiatives, and regulatory compliance. Holeman holds a M.S. in Industrial Hygiene from the University of New Haven, M.A. in Psychology and Counseling from Goddard College, M.P.H. in Infections Disease Epidemiology from Yale University, and a B.A. in Biology from Wheaton College.

Timothy Morrow of Capulin has been reappointed to the Environmental Improvement Board. He has been a rancher in Capulin for the last 40 years. Morrow earned his B.S. in Agriculture Business from Eastern New Mexico University.

David Houston of Artesia has been reappointed to the Board of Funeral Services. Houston is the manager of Terpening and Son Mortuary where for the past 26 years he has performed all aspects of funeral services. Houston holds a Diploma in Funeral Service from the Dallas Institute of Funeral Service.

Conrad Cordova of Tres Piedras has been appointed to the Information Technology Commission. Cordova is currently the IT Director of Taos County Government, with six years in supervision and eleven years' experience in software and hardware. Cordova attended New Mexico State School of Mines and Technology and the US Navy Electronics Technician Training.

Joyce Bustos of Santa Fe has been reappointed to the state Judicial Standards Commission. Bustos is an independent criminal justice consultant. She also served as director of the Administrative Office of the District Attorneys. Bustos earned a B.S. in Secondary Education and M.D. in Public Administration from the University of New Mexico.

Rex Kirksey of Tucumcari has been appointed to the Land Title Trust Fund Advisory Committee. Kirksey is the owner and manager of First Title Services, LLC. Prior to starting his own business Kirksey spent 32 years as the superintendent and college professor at New Mexico State University. Kirksey holds a M.S. in Agricultural Economics and a B.S. in Agriculture from New Mexico State University.

William Wooten of Albuquerque has been appointed to the Land Title Trust Fund Advisory Committee. Wooten is the Vice President of Fidelity National Title serving for over 35 years in the title insurance industry. Wooten holds a B.A. in English from the University of New Mexico.

Norice Lee of Las Cruces has been reappointed to the New Mexico State Library Commission. Lee is currently the Associate Dean with the New Mexico State University Library. Lee is responsible for daily operation and administration within the NMSU library system. Lee has over 16 years of library experience. Lee holds a B.A. in Sociology from New Mexico State University and a Master's degree in Library and Information Science from the University of Texas.

Patrick Barncastle of Roswell has been reappointed to the Law Enforcement Academy Board. Barncastle is the lead investigator for the Fifth Judicial District Attorney's Office. He has also served as Assistant Southeast Area Chief and District Wildlife Supervisor for the New Mexico Department of Game and Fish in Roswell. Barncastle holds a B.S. in Wildlife Management from New Mexico State University. He was named Investigator of the Year in 2010 by the New Mexico District Attorney's Association.

William Sauble of Maxwell has been reappointed to the Livestock Board. Sauble is the President for his family owned cow, calf and yearling operation at Sauble Ranch Company for the past 49 years. Sauble holds a B.S. in Animal Science from New Mexico State University and served on active duty in the U.S. Navy.

Scott Christensen of Portales has been reappointed to the Manufactured Housing Committee. Christensen is the President of Portales Homes, LLC, which Christensen opened and grew into the oldest independent manufactured housing retail sales operation in New Mexico. He has been a registered dealer for 27 years. Christensen holds a B.S. in Business Administration the University of Wisconsin.

Donald Belknap, M.D. of Raton has been appointed to the Board of Trustees of the Miners' Hospital of New Mexico. Belknap is an emergency physician for Norton Hospitals and the Miners' Colfax Medical Center. Belknap holds a B.S. from the University of Louisville, a M.S. from North Carolina State University, and a M.D. from the University of Louisville School of Medicine.

Kathy McQueary of Raton has been reappointed to the Board of Trustees of the Miners' Hospital of New Mexico. McQueary is the manager of Larry W. McQueary, CPA and has previously worked as a licensed financial representative. She is also a trustee of Raton Public Service Company and serves on the board of directors at International Bank in Raton. She attended Eastern New Mexico University.

Derek Mathews of Albuquerque has been reappointed to the New Mexico Music Commission. In 1983, Mathews founded the Gathering of Nations Powwow, which has grown over the years to be the largest Native American Festival in the world, and one of New Mexico's premiere annual events. Mathews holds a M.S. in Popular Culture from Governors State University and a B.A. Degree in Theater from the College of Santa Fe'sGreer Garson Theater.

Rebecca Hatch of Clayton has been reappointed to the Board of Nursing. Rebecca Hatch is an Emergency Medical Technician in Clayton. Hatch has held several positions as a corrections officer with the GEO Groups in Hobbs. She attended New Mexico Junior College and the College of the Southwest.

Miguel Carrion of Albuquerque has been appointed to the Parole Board. Carrion is a United States Probabtion Officer where he is the supervisor in presentence investigation unit at the U.S. Probation Office, District of New Mexico. Carrion holds a B.S. in Social Work from New Mexico State University.

Carl Cleland of Albuquerque has been appointed to the Parole Board. Cleland is retired from the Albuquerque Police Department after 23 years of experience in the law enforcement field. Cleland holds a B.A. in Art and Science from the University of New Mexico and a Law Enforcement Certification from the New Mexico Department of Public Safety.

Jetta Reynolds of Albuquerque has been reappointed to the Physical Therapy Board. Reynolds is now retired after working as the Owner and Partner of A.J. Abrams CO. Reynolds attended the University of Connecticut and the University of New Mexico.

Glen Thurow of Albuquerque has been reappointed to the State Board of Licensure for Professional Engineers and Professional Surveyors. Thurow is the Vice President of GCDB Development at Premier Data Services, Inc. Thurow has over 20 years' experience as a certified professional surveyor. Thurow holds an MBA from the University of New Mexico.

Dr. Paul Bagwell of Las Vegas has been reappointed to the New Mexico State Board of Psychologist Examiners. Bagwell is the Clinical Psychologist and the Forensic Division Director for the New Mexico Behavioral Health Institute at Las Vegas. Soter currently works in the Evaluations and Medication Management of Children and Adolescents Department at the Children's Treatment Center in Albuquerque. Soter has over 41 years of medical experience. Soter holds a M.D. from the College of Medicine and Health Services in St. Lucia.

Ronald Alfred of Placitas has been reappointed to the Real Estate Appraisers Board. Alfred is the sole proprietor for Alfred Land Management and Appraisal Group where he performs commercial property real estate appraisals. Louise Tracey-Hosa of Las Cruces has been reappointed to the Board of Social Work Examiners. Tracey-Hosa has worked as the Southern Outreach Program Coordinator for Con Alma Health Foundation as well as Executive Director of La Pinon Sexual Assault Recovery Services of Southern New Mexico. Tracey-Hosa holds a B.A. in Anthropology from Eastern New Mexico University.

Judith Britton of Hobbs has been reappointed to the Board of Social Work Examiners. Britton is a former mental health professional at Lea County Regional Medical Center and New Mexico State Board of Social Work Examiner. Britton holds a B.S. from the University of the Southwest.

Sid Gutierrez of Albuquerque has been reappointed to the Spaceport Authority. Gutierrez is a former NASA astronaut who currently serves as Director of ES&H and Emergency Management as well as Chief of Safety for Sandia National Laboratories in Albuquerque. Gutierrez piloted the Space Shuttle Columbia in 1991 and served as Mission Commander for the Space Shuttle Endeavor in 1994. He also served on NASA'sAerospace Safety Advisory Panel and International Space Station Management and Cost Evaluation Taskforce. Gutierrez earned his B.S. in Aeronautical Engineering from the United States Air Force Academy and his M.A. in Personnel Management from Webster University.

Jerry Stagner of Truth or Consequences has been reappointed to the Spaceport Authority. Stagner is the President of Citizens Bank in Truth or Consequences. Michael Langner of Albuquerque has been reappointed to the Speech, Language Pathology, Audiology and Hearing Aid Dispensing Practices Board. Langner is currently the President of Langner Technical Co., which provides broadcasting consulting services to the New Mexico Broadcasters Association, ABC Radio Network, and Audi-Video Avtel. Langner attended the University of New Mexico.
