General de Salud Contracts with Assist America to Provide International Travel Assistance to its Affiliates

Mexican Health Insurer to offer Global Emergency Services
Princeton, New Jersey, August 29, 2005 - Assist America, the nation’s largest provider of global emergency services through employee benefit plans, has announced that it will be offering international travel assistance to Mexican insurer General de Salud, and its affiliated companies. Assist America’s global services will be included as a program enhancement in all new and existing group health insurance policies, effective September 1, 2005.
Participants have access 24/7 to comprehensive assistance that will ensure their protection. The many services include medical consultation, evaluation and referral, critical care monitoring, hospital admission guarantee, emergency medical evacuation and repatriation, transportation to join a patient, prescription assistance, care and transportation of minor children, lost luggage or document assistance, and emergency trauma counseling.
