BioEden continues to expand it's global stem cell banking services to countries around the world.
This week saw a further increase in staffing levels to their UK operation as their services start to be promoted by Health Care Insurance Intermediaries, in addition to dentists and other health professionals.
'As stem cell therapies become more common place the need to have a stem cell match for the patient increases and it is this that has been driving many parents to bank their children's own stem cells', says group CEO Mr Tony Veverka..
'This, together with the fact that the procedure is non-invasive using children's naturally shed baby teeth, means that the stem cells can be harvested without any medical intervention'.
The costs are surprisingly low, compared to other forms of stem cell banking and children can be enrolled from birth for just £5 per month.
