Former TARP Fund COO Schweitzer Delivering Keynote at Reinsurance Roundtable, HB Announces
HB Litigation Conferences announced that Howard Schweitzer, former Chief Operating Officer of TARP, has been added as a keynote speaker for the 17th Annual Insurance Insolvency & Reinsurance Roundtable at The Fairmont Scottsdale Princess March 24-27, 2010 in Scottsdale, Ariz.
Sharon Boothe, President of HB Litigation Conferences, commented, "We have worked hard for 17 years to build a seminal event on insurance insolvency and reinsurance, so we are thrilled to add someone with Schweitzer's credentials and experience to our list of distinguished speakers this year."
In his role as COO at TARP, Schweitzer was responsible for leading program execution and building the infrastructure of the $700 billion fund. He recently joined the law firm of Cozen O'Connor as a member of its Washington, D.C., office. Schweitzer will provide strategic advisory services to U.S. and multinational clients on a variety of issues involving the U.S. government and will focus his legal practice on public law, public-private partnerships, international business transactions, government contracts, and corporate compliance.
The "Roundtable" agenda, combined with the conference's signature networking opportunities, make this a "don't miss" event in 2010, Boothe said. The curriculum provides an unparalleled blend of speakers who will discuss emerging risks and explore creative ideas for potential opportunities from these risks, provide an insider's perspective on regulatory developments and how companies can remain in compliance, and enlighten attendees on the newest developments in the insolvency and run-off arenas, she explained.
Boothe said the latest attendance list, the full agenda, the most current faculty, and the schedule of networking events, are available on the company's website www.LitigationConferences.com in the "Conferences" section or by going to this URL: www.litigationconferences.com/?p=4207.
