Elizabeth “Lizzie” Dipp Metzger of Crown Wealth Strategies Was Recently Elected to the El Paso United Way Board of Directors

Elizabeth Dipp Metzger of Crown Wealth Strategies was recently elected to the El PasoUnited Way Board of Directors.

The mission of the United Way is to improve the lives of El Paso families through the caring power of the community we live in. And to Live United means mobilizing that power to support and, where necessary, develop programs that also address the underlying causes of the community's needs, with the long-term goal of ending those needs.

United Way of El Paso County held its Annual Meeting of the Board and Annual Meeting of the membership at the Marriott Hotel on Wednesday April 30, 2014. Board Officers were elected and eleven individuals were newly elected to serve on the 2014-2015 Board of Directors.

The Board of Directors is comprised of community leaders responsible for the governance of the organization including its mission, policies, and strategic planning.
"We are fortunate to have such a diverse group of individuals committed to the mission of United Way of El Paso County," said Board Chair Steve Busser. "The combined support of the Board of Directors will continue to move our efforts in Education, Basic Needs, and Income forward."

Mrs. Metzger is actively involved in the El Paso community. She also serves on the board of the Paso del Norte Children's Development Center and is a member of the UTEP Business Advisory Council.
