Elephant Auto Insurance Named “Employer of Choice” in Richmond, VA

Elephant Auto Insurance received the top award – Employer of Choice – at the annual All Star Awards sponsored by the Society of Human Resource Management Association's Richmond chapter.

Richmond, VA (PRWEB) May 20, 2010 -- Elephant Insurance Services, LLC (Elephant), a leading provider of cheap auto insurance in Virginia, received the top award – Employer of Choice – in the All Star Awards sponsored by the Society of Human Resource Management Association's Richmond chapter, the Greater Richmond Chamber and the Richmond Times-Dispatch. Elephant won in the small business category for the annual award that recognizes businesses and organizations in the Greater Richmond area that support the 3 E’s (employment, education and economic development) in building a quality workforce and distinguishing themselves as leading employers.

“This award means more than simply being judged a great company; it is community acknowledgment supporting what we are building at Elephant. It is a symbol that embodies our employee’s dedication to making this a great place to work,” said Elephant President and CEO Andrew Rose.

Elephant has taken a different approach to selling cheap auto insurance, and offering discounts on low cost insurance quotes. In addition to an intense focus on being frugal and controlling costs to keep insurance rates low for their customers, Elephant strives on excellent customer service from its employees.
According to Rose, Elephant’s relaxed work atmosphere leads to an environment that allows people to excel, and ultimately to create a business that grows profitable and offers cheap auto insurance to their customers."When people like what they do, they do it better. When they like where they work, they work better,” he said.
Cheap auto insurance quotes are available from Elephant at www.elephant.com.
Elephant currently employs 65 people at its offices in western Henrico County and is on track to reach 100 employees by the end of 2010.
