ATLANTA--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Ebix, Inc. (NASDAQ: EBIX), a leading international supplier of On-Demand software and E-commerce services to the insurance industry, today announced that in a Special Meeting of Shareholders held December 21, 2009, its shareholders approved the proxy increasing the number of authorized shares of the Company’s common stock from 20,000,000 to 60,000,000 shares.

The Company also announced today that its common shares will begin trading on a post-split basis starting January 5, 2010.
