July 30--- Denver-based Moody Insurance has opened an office at 1880 Office Club Pointe in the Briargate area.

The office is headed by Cheryl Harding and Erin Clay, who have expertise in the employee benefits field and have worked with Colorado Springs employers of various sizes, ranging from a few employees to thousands. Harding joined Moody Insurance after 26 years with Wells Fargo Insurance Services and has worked in employee benefits for 30 years. She is senior vice president of employee benefits. Clay, a benefits account executive, has worked in the insurance industry for more than 20 years. Moody Insurance was founded in 1972 and is the third-largest privately owned insurance agency in Colorado. It also has a presence in Grand Junction as well as Denver.

Moves, Meetings & news to use

- Griffis/Blessing has been named manager of the Honeywell Building at 1110 Bayfield Drive. The 166,182-square-foot building is home to Honeywell. Portfolio manager Suzan Parra, management assistant Carrie Lanning, maintenance tech Dan Vancil and property accountant Chad Achterhof will oversee the daily management operations.
