Fort Carson welcomed Col. Ryan F. Gonsalves, the 4th Infantry Division's arriving deputy commanding general in a special ceremony. Col. Gonsalves has served 27 years as an Army officer, with assignments including tank and mortar platoon leader, task force executive officer and brigade commander. This will be his third assignment with the 4th Infantry Division. Gonsalves arrives from United States Joint Forces Command, Norfolk, Va., where he served as executive officer to the commander in garrison and while deployed to Iraq in support of Operations Iraqi Freedom and New Dawn.

Shahn Christensen, Farmers Insurance agent in Colorado Springs, completed the Career Agents Course at the University of Farmers training facility in Agoura Hills, Calif. The university offers training to enhance the professional skills Farmers' 15,000 agents and their staff, 500 district managers and 10,000 claims staff year round.

Army veteran Tony D. McNeil is a new marriage and family counselor at The Art of Redirection Counseling. After retiring in 2005 McNeil completed his master's degree in counseling through the University of Phoenix and began the doctoral program at University of the Rockies. He also works in Pueblo at Parkview Psychiatric Services as a Behavioral Health Specialist.

Donald and Susan Sturm, Chairman & CEO and Vice Chairman of the Board of American National Bank, announced the appointment of Koger L. Propst as the new president of the bank and of Sturm Financial Group, the bank's holding company. Propst has 30 years in the banking industry and will help lead American National Bank's professional team of bankers to meet the needs and objectives of their customers. Prior to joining American National Bank, Koger held the position of Executive Vice President for FirstBank Holding Company. Previously, he had been President of several FirstBanks.

The Broadmoor announced that Ken Williams will head group meetings as director of tradeshow sales. Rocky Mountain PBS has named Kelsey Cornelius as development account executive, a new position focusing on corporate underwriting, grants and membership development in Southern Colorado. Cornelius joins RMPBS from FOX21 and CW57. She has a bachelor's degree in environmental studies from the University of Vermont and is near completion of her MBA from University of Colorado at Colorado Springs. She served as a volunteer in the US Peace Corps in Cameroon from 2005 to 2007.

The Tri-Lakes Chamber named a new Executive Director, Terri Hayes. Hayes has been interim director for the last three months. She is a resident of Black Forest and has been a member of the Tri- Lakes Chamber of Commerce and Visitor's Center for three years.

10 til 2, the part-time staffing company, announced the appointment of Caroline Puller</person> to the role of vice president of business development. Puller is responsible for building and maintaining relations with 10 til 2's existing and prospective customers. She excels at helping businesses determine what their needs are and then meets their needs.

Heather Lemley joined Business Future Systems of Colorado as a sales representative. Previously, she worked within her community in Arizona to educate and prevent substance abuse.

Serene Contreras joins BFS Colorado as a leading consultant in strategic and social media marketing. She has more than 10 years of experience as a marketing assistant and applying a strong expertise to both social media and strategic marketing.

The Colorado Supreme Court Advisory Committee announced the appointment of Barbara A. Ezyk as the director of the newly-created Colorado Lawyer Assistance Program. This new program is an integral part of the Supreme Court's mission to ensure that Colorado's attorneys maintain their high professional standards and have access to resources. Ezyk will help lawyers, judges, law firms, law schools, courts and others to identify and intervene with impaired and/or struggling legal professionals and law students, and assist those individuals in recovery.
