Cohen & Grigsby Appoints New Head for Firm’s Litigation Practice Group

PITTSBURGH, June 20, 2011/PRNewswire/ -- Cohen & Grigsby, a business law firm with headquarters in Pittsburgh, PA and an office in Bonita Springs, FL, has appointed attorney Daniel M. Darraghto the position of practice group head of the firm's Litigation Practice Group.  Darragh is a director at Cohen & Grigsby and a member of the Environmental Law, Intellectual Property and Litigation groups.  He specializes in handling a wide range of complex commercial litigation matters with an emphasis on environmental and patent litigation.

Darragh replaces Andrew M. Roman, who previously held the position of Litigation Practice Group head.  Roman, a director at the firm, will continue to lead the Insurance Coverage Practice Area.  He is a litigator with more than 25 years of experience in insurance coverage and insurance law matters.  Roman represents insureds exclusively, and has served as counsel to several precedent-setting court decisions.  He also represents clients in other areas of commercial litigation.

Prior to being appointed head of the Litigation Group, Darragh held the position of general counsel at the firm. Richard R. "Chip" Nelson II, also a director at the firm, will now serve as the new general counsel.
