Christopher Alan Connolly, 52, of Lancaster passed away peacefully with his loving parents at his side at The Reading Hospital and Medical Center on Saturday afternoon, August 16, 2014.
He was the son of Martha and George Connolly, Wyomissing.
Chris was a graduate of Schuylkill Valley High School, Leesport and Gettysburg College. He spent his Professional career in the insurance industry, primarily in sales of commercial and personal lines products.
His primary recreational interest outside of business was golf. He was a member of both the Schuylkill Valley and Gettysburg golf teams.
Chris is also survived by two children, Grace and Jacob, and his sister Elisabeth, wife of Brian Shelton, Englewood, Colorado. The Sheltons have two children, Nathan and Sarah. Additionally, there are aunts, uncles and cousins in the extended family.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Ave., West Reading, PA 19611 where a service will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, August 23rd, preceded by a visitation period beginning at 9 a.m. Interment will be at Hain's Church Cemetery in Wernersville, PA. The Family suggests that, in lieu of flowers, a contribution be made to the Drug and Alcohol Center at Reading Hospital, 410 Buttonwood St., West Reading, PA 19611 or Gettysburg College 300 North Washington St., Gettysburg, PA 17325.
