Chaffee Chiropractic brings healing to patients, families

Proquest LLC

WOOSTER -- There are so many day-to-day activities that are directly impacted by the ability to move without pain. Chaffee Chiropractic Clinic understands it is not just the patient, but the people around them who must work toward getting them back to a place where they can be pain free.

Barbara Tennant came to Chaffee Chiropractic with TMJ pain and rheumatoid arthritis in her fingers. Before trying chiropractic care she was taking pain medication and also tried physical therapy.

"I am feeling remarkably better and the swelling in my joints has gone down," said Tennant. "I am able to do everyday chores and work much easier now. Chaffee Chiropractic is definitely on the ball."

Together the staff at Chaffee Chiropractic Clinic works to bring help and healing to patients and their families. They have been serving the Wooster area for 21 years, working to bring the latest and most effective treatment options to their patients.

Chaffee Chiropractic Clinic is staffed by Dr. Bryce Chaffee, Dr. Tami Chaffee, Dr. Luke Flynn, Dr. Aaron Compton and Dr. Jeremy Flanders. There are 20 team members dedicated to serving clients in the areas of insurance verification and filing, patient reception, physiotherapy, functional rehabilitation, massage therapy and nutrition therapy.

"We like to keep an open relationship with other health care providers in our area in order to make sure each patient has consistency of care without a loss of communication," said Dr. Bryce Chaffee.

Areas of treatment include headaches, migraines, TMJ, neck and shoulder pain, mid back and rib pain, lower back and sciatic pain (which includes hip, knee, foot and ankle), sports injuries (including neck, shoulder, back, knee, ankle and elbow), infant torticollis, colic and ear infections.

"We are approved by Ohio workers compensation to treat workplace injuries," said Dr. Bryce Chaffee. "Our workers comp department is very knowledgeable in setting up and processing claims."

Judy Ross began treatment at Chaffee Chiropractic for lower back pain radiating down her leg. The pain she was having made it very hard for her to do dishes and make beds. Before coming to Chaffee Chiropractic, Ross had turned to steroids to ease the pain and was considering surgery. Now Ross is feeling much better, is off steroids and is able to do her chores.

"I can do things now that I couldn't do before. I am so happy!" said Ross. "My favorite part of the visit is the friendly and sociable staff. I definitely recommend the chiropractic care here, you'd be a fool not to do it."

The doctors at Chaffee Chiropractic also treat whiplash and lower back injuries that occur as a result of auto accidents. Their insurance department will bill the patient's auto insurance directly (if applicable). Almost all insurance companies will pay for chiropractic care and the clinic is in network for most insurance plans. Medicare also covers chiropractic adjustments.

The clinic is able to use the in-house digital X-ray system for optimal viewing of the spine and extremity conditions. Both Drs. Bryce and Tami Chaffee are board certified in acupuncture. By combining two powerful healing methods, chiropractic and acupuncture, the body's natural healing mechanism can be used to achieve incredible results.

Crystal Taylor was in a car accident seven years ago. She had two carpal tunnel surgeries, therapy for four and a half months and was taking medication.

"I hit a wall with the therapy and was still in a lot of pain," said Taylor. "After I started treatment at Chaffee Chiropractic I began to feel more positive and have more energy. I've lost weight, have better concentration and no pain. My life has changed completely. The doctor is so uplifting. No matter what obstacles you are facing there is always help."

Chaffee Chiropractic provides health seminars each Monday night for patients and their families. The proof is in the smiles on the faces of patients like Barbara, Judy and Crystal who are all living healthier lives, thanks to treatment from Chaffee Chiropractic Clinic. The office is located at 242 E. Milltown Road, Wooster. Call 330-345-4440 or visit them on the Web at chaffeechiro.com.
