Millersville University has named Brian Hazlett vice president for enrollment management.

Hazlett, of York, had been interim associate vice provost for enrollment management at Millersville since February.

Before that, he was assistant vice president and director of university admissions at Towson University.

Hazlett holds a bachelor's degree from St. Francis University and a master's degree from State University of New York, Binghamton.

Brent Landis has joined Annie W. Metzler Insurance Agency as a partner and vice president.

Landis, of Strasburg, previously was an insurance agent at Weaver Insurance Agency for more than five years. Landis is a Penn State University graduate.

Stradling Funeral Homes has hired Stephen J. Montpetit as a licensed funeral director.

Montpetit, of Lititz, had been a supervisor and funeral director at Spacht Funeral Home for 25 years.

A graduate of Ephrata High School, he attended Penn State's Berks Campus. He holds a certificate in mortuary science from Catonsville Community College.

Morphy Auctions has hired Michael L. Vice as director of its firearms and military-related artifacts department.

Vice, of Gettysburg, most recently was museum curator at the U.S. Army Medical Museum at Fort Sam Houston, Texas.

From 1993 to 2003, he was chief museum curator at Gettysburg National Military Park.

An author and retired major in the U.S. Army Reserve, Vice holds a bachelor's degree from Mississippi State University and a master's degree from Texas Tech University.

Blakinger, Byler & Thomas has hired Grace C. Nguyen Bond as an associate attorney.

Bond, of Ephrata, will concentrate her practice on business law, family law and civil litigation.

She most recently was a law clerk for Lancaster County Court of Common Pleas Judge Margaret C. Miller.

Bond holds a bachelor's degree from Temple University and a law degree from Widener University School of Law.

National Penn Bancshares has promoted Dale Hershey to commercial director of agriculture and dairy lending in its Lancaster region.

Hershey, of West Lampeter, continues as a senior vice president. Hired in 2005, Hershey attended Harrisburg Area Community College.

Wenger Feeds has promoted Grant Markley and Jon Slothour to newly created operations roles.

Markley, of Lancaster, has been named feed division chief operating officer. He joined Wenger last year as transportation manager. Markley has a bachelor's degree from Millersville University and MBA and law degrees from Widener University.

Slothour, of Manheim, has been named ingredient division chief operating officer. He was hired in 2008 as purchasing manager. Slothour is an Elizabethtown College graduate.

Lancaster General Health Physicians Cardiothoracic Surgery has hired Dr. Jennifer M. Worth.

Worth, of Lancaster, previously was administrative chief resident in cardiothoracic surgery at Ohio State University Medical Center.

Worth earned a medical degree from Drexel University College of Medicine.

She completed her fellowship in cardiothoracic surgery at the Ohio State University Medical Center. She served her internship and was chief resident in general surgery at the University of Nebraska in Omaha.

Gastro Florida has hired Mark A. O'Neill as chief executive officer.

O'Neill, of Lancaster, had been managing director of American Healthcare Leadership International since January 2012.

During part of that time, he also was chief operating officer of Main Line Gastroenterology Associates.

O'Neill holds a bachelor's degree from University of Pittsburgh and a master's degree from Johns Hopkins University.

Gastro Florida, based in St. Petersburg, is the largest gastroenterology practice in the Tampa Bay market.

The Historic Preservation Trust of Lancaster County has elected John Metzger to its board of directors. Metzger is senior partner in the law firm May, Metzger & Zimmerman.

Nine local executives have earned designations from the Human Resource Certification Institute.

Earning the Senior Professional in Human Resources certification were Kelly Fasnacht of Kalas Manufacturing, Deborah Grube of MGS, Pamela Hoffman of Turkey Hill Dairy, Susan Howard of Exide Technologies and David Nice of Nice Solutions.

Earning the Professional in Human Resources certification were Rosa Perez of East King Day Care, Kristen Sauder of Friendship Community and Brittany Fritz and Kim Hubric of Excentia.
