Insurance company CNA Financial Corporation (NYSE:CNA) has named Scott Hewitt as VP of its Baltimore branch with effect from 17 May 2010, the company revealed on Wednesday.
Hewitt will be responsible for synchronising branch operations with the company's strategic goals, including increasing local authority at the point of sale and improving service to agents and brokers in this territory.
Most recently Hewitt was VP for The Hartford's Baltimore region. He has more than two decades of insurance experience, including positions of increasing responsibility with Westfield Insurance Group and Selective Insurance Group.
