CA Technologies Names Ronald Alepian as SVP, Chief Communications Officer

CA Technologies announced that Ronald Alepian has been named senior vice president and chief communications officer, effective January 6, 2014.
According to a release, Alepian will be based in New York City, reporting directly to Chief Marketing Officer Lauren P. Flaherty.
"Communications is a key part of the marketing arsenal and will help us drive heightened awareness and credibility with customers around the world in DevOps, Mobility, Cloud, and Software-as-a- Service, as well as to maintain our leadership in the mainframe," said Flaherty. "As we step up our marketing and go-to-market initiatives, Ronald and the team will develop and launch integrated global programs tied directly to our business priorities."
Alepian has an almost twenty year track record building global teams and driving programs that advance an organization's strategic and marketing goals. He is currently vice president and group head of corporate marketing and communications at TMX Group, which operates a number of technology-driven exchanges-such as Toronto Stock Exchange-and provides network connectivity, trading and risk- management software to customers worldwide. Previously, he held communications leadership roles at Nortel and Bell Canada and was a consultant to global technology and software firms for nearly a decade at Burson-Marsteller affiliate National Public Relations.
