“The management team at BluePearl recognized through their continuous interactions with numerous pet insurance companies that Trupanion clearly exceeded the expectations of both the medical teams and pet owners,” said
In addition to this partnership, BluePearl’s more than 1,200 team members will receive partially subsidized Trupanion policies for up to four pets, beginning in
“Each day we strive to provide exceptional care to pets treated at BluePearl, and expect nothing less for our pets at home,” said
BluePearl’s program will kick off Trupanion’s Employee Benefits platform for veterinary practice owners. By offering pet insurance through Trupanion for staff pets, practice owners will be able to charge full price for services, instead of the current common practice of discounting services for hospital staff, and have Trupanion contribute 90 percent of the cost back to the practice owner. This program will also prevent employee-related billing issues, particularly with turn-over staff.
“We look forward to forging a long-term partnership with BluePearl as they clearly recognize the value proposition that Trupanion offers in protecting pets, allowing family veterinarians and specialists to offer state-of-the-art care without economic limits,” said
