Blue Cross Blue Shield of Arizona Appoints Jeff Stelnik to Senior VP of Strategy, Sales and Marketing

PHOENIX--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Blue Cross Blue Shield of Arizona (BCBSAZ) is pleased to announce the appointment of Jeff Stelnik to senior vice president of strategy, sales and marketing. He was recently tapped to lead the strategy and informatics department, and will continue to do so.

Beginning May 2, Stelnik will oversee marketing and sales for BCBSAZ, a critical function in the rapidly evolving consumer marketplace. His continued leadership will also facilitate using data and analytics to support BCBSAZ’s vision to provide the best value in health insurance in Arizona.

Stelnik’s previous experience includes leadership roles at major health care providers, including sales and marketing oversight. Since 2009, he has been an essential senior executive at BCBSAZ, lending strategic advice and leveraging his expertise to guide the actuarial and informatics departments.

Stelnik graduated magna cum laude from Tufts University with a bachelor’s degree in mathematics and quantitative economics. He is also a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries.
