Bill Jacobs Cadillac Announces Enhanced 2012 SRX to Hit Showrooms in August

Joliet, IL (PRWEB) August 06, 2011

The sales team at Bill Jacobs Cadillac is excited about the new SRX. As the leading Cadillac dealer in Joliet, IL, they have the inside line on all the great new vehicles coming from Cadillac, including the 2012 SRX. Starting this month, the Cadillac 2012 SRX will be available, and it's all new. A new 308-horsepower 3.6L direct-injected V6 engine gives the SRX the most standard power in its class and includes a driver-selectable ECO Mode for optimal fuel economy. In addition to more power, the engine gets about the same fuel economy as previous engines.

“We’re taking a winning product in the SRX and reaching higher,” said Don Butler, Cadillac vice president of marketing. “The crossover category is one of the biggest and most important segments in the luxury market. SRX has performed very well and is the best selling Cadillac worldwide, but our approach is not to leave well enough alone.”

The new Cadillac SRX for 2012 features an advanced All Wheel Drive (AWD) system with electronic limited slip rear differential that distributes power front-to-rear. It can also move power across the rear axle based on driving conditions and traction, which offers much better handling for the new SRX. These are some of the reasons the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) 2011 made the Cadillac SRX a Top Safety Pick.

The 2012 SRX carries a standard price of around $36,000. Various upgrades and changes in the SRX for 2012 include standard Bluetooth on all models, an optional heated steering wheel, and a xenon Blue Metallic exterior paint option that will be available in fall 2011.

An all-ebony interior option with contrasting stitching and sweet new 20-inch wheel finish options are coming too. OnStar is standard and features myCadillac and OnStar RemoteLink mobile apps and Stolen Vehicle Assistance. All in all, the new SRX is quite a performer: a true Cadillac in all respects.

Local consumers who are interested in finding out more about the new 2012 Cadillac SRX are encouraged to stop in at Bill Jacobs Cadillac, the premiere Cadillac dealership in Joliet, IL and surrounding areas. Their sales team is professional, friendly, and is there to answer any questions consumers have about any of the great new Cadillacs in Joliet, IL.
