BerleyNet Appoints W. Douglas Griffin as Chief Financial Officer
Berkley Net Underwriters, LLC (BerkleyNet) announced the appointment of W. Douglas Griffin as vice president and chief financial officer.
Commenting on the appointment, John Goldwater, president and chief financial officer of BerkleyNet, said, "Doug's extensive background in finance and insurance practices compliment our long-term strategy of serving small business workers compensation customers." Mr. Griffin is both a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC), holding a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration / Accounting degree from Auburn University. He began his career in public accounting and has held financial and operational leadership roles within the insurance industry for almost 20 years.
