Baruch College Welcomes Christopher D. Ittner for 2014 Emanuel Saxe Distinguished Lecture in Accounting

NEW YORK, Sept. 30 -- Baruch College issued the following news release:

The Stan Ross Department of Accountancy at Baruch College'sZicklin School of Business will host the annual Emanuel Saxe Distinguished Lecture in Accounting on October 29. This year's keynote speaker is Christopher D. Ittner, EY Professor of Accounting at University of Pennsylvania'sWharton School of Business.

Professor Ittner's research focuses on the design, implementation, and consequences of performance measurement and cost management systems. In this lecture, he will focus on finance and accounting in enterprise risk management.

The Emanuel Saxe Distinguished Lectures in Accounting were established to honor Emanuel Saxe, Dean and Professor Emeritus at Baruch College. One hour of New York State Continuing Professional Education in Accounting is available for attending this lecture.
