BRIEF: Two-vehicle crash causes damage

Sept. 30--A two-vehicle accident at 3:45 p.m. Saturday caused more than $9,000 in damage, according to the Jamestown Police Department.

Candace Courtright, 45, Jamestown, was driving a 2004 Chevrolet north on 2nd Avenue Northwest, approaching the intersection with 3rd Street Northwest.

Kaileen Wiltz, 25, Jamestown, was traveling north in a 2014 Ford in the 300 block of 2nd Avenue Northwest and was parking the Ford behind another vehicle.According to the police report, Courtright ran into the back end of the Ford that Wiltz was driving. Jamestown Area Ambulance treated Courtright at the scene as she appeared to have a medical issue, the report said. Wiltz was also examined at the scene.Courtright and Wiltz wore seat belts.Damage was estimated at $6,000 for the Chevrolet and $3,000 for the Ford.Courtright was cited for having no vehicle insurance.
