AutoInsurance.com Launches Retrieve Quote Function

Public auto insurance rating engine AutoInsurance.com, with the launch of its new “retrieve saved quote” function, is enabling returning users to pull up previously submitted quotes and driver information, making it easier than ever to compare different coverage scenarios.
Since launching earlier this year, the site has provided a handy mechanism for generating free online quote comparisons that give a quick and comprehensive view of consumers’ car insurance options. With the new function, return visitors can access their most recent comparison simply by entering their birthdate and e-mail address.
“Our latest features aim to transform visitors to lifetime users by allowing them to retrieve their latest auto insurance quotes and obtain fresh ones anytime,” said Cesar Diaz, veteran insurance professional and founder of the site. “Users can frequently use our free rater to make sure they always remain with a competitively priced insurer. We encourage quote comparisons before every policy renewal and upon changes to address, vehicles, drivers or driving records.”
With insurers’ rating formulas being so complex, consumers most likely find it hard to know how different variables — vehicle type, driver profile, completion of safe-driving courses, etc. — could affect their coverage premiums. But getting freely quoted for these different scenarios can cut out some of the guesswork.
Now, insurance shoppers wishing to re-evaluate their coverage or to see how adding a new driver or vehicle to a policy could affect premiums will be spared the need to enter their information all over again; the new feature calls up the most-recently filled form with all of the info intact. All that’s needed are a few simple edits to get a new comparison.
There’s no limit to how many times a shopper can get a new quote, and it’s free every time.
The new addition will continue to help establish the site as the fastest and most efficient mechanism for locating affordable auto insurance prices from dozens of carriers.
