Association of Defense Communities Elects CALIBRE VP to Board of Directors

ALEXANDRIA, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Jeff Giangiuli, CALIBRE Vice President for Business Development, was elected to the Board of Directors of the Association of Defense Communities (ADC) at the 2011 ADC Annual Conference in Norfolk, Virginia. Mr. Giangiuli is a nationally recognized expert in risk management, environmental cleanup, and military property management. He currently provides senior-level technical and programmatic support to the U.S. Navy Base Realignment and Closure Program Management Office (BRAC PMO) and the Army Assistant Chief of Staff for Installation Management (ACSIM) related to energy management and BRAC programs. Mr. Giangiuli is known for his success in interfacing with defense communities and communicating the intricacies of key federal initiatives, including the protocols for Environmental Services Cooperative Agreements (ESCAs), processes to evaluate Economic Development Conveyances (EDCs), and practices for executing Performance-Based Contracts (PBCs) that have allowed “privatizing” over $300M of environmental cleanup at active military installations.

Mr. Giangiuli will serve a three-year term on the ADC Board of Directors.
