Dec. 28--Summaries of Pantagraph-area high school boys basketball games played Dec. 27.

Prairie Centrall 57, Flanagan-Cornell 35: Senior Addison Bounds poured in a game-high 27 points to lead Prairie Central to a 57-35 victory over Flanagan-Cornell on Tuesday night in the second day of play at the Hawk Classic at Fairbury.

The Hawks raced to a 21-8 lead in the first quarter and then upped it to 38-17 by halftime.

Ian Briscoe finished with 12 points and nine rebounds for the Hawks.

Matt Harrison had 15 points to pace the Falcons. Alex Bullard grabbed seven rebounds.

Lexington 38, GCMS 24: Michael Baker and Donavan Laible had 10 points apiece and Lexington's defense held GCMS to 21 percent shooting from the floor for a second-round victory.

GCMS was led by Gabe Kerber's nine points.

Tri-Point 44, Dwight 34: Dylan Juergens scored a game-high 19 points and had four steals to lead Tri-Point over Dwight at Fairbury. Tri-Point came up with 10 steals as a team and forced 17 turnovers.

The Chargers' Terry Barnhart had 10 points, including a 6-for-6 showing at the free-throw line. Dwight was paced by Ben Trainor's eight points.

Iroquois West 49, Reed-Custer 43: Keaton Zirkle had 18 points and seven rebounds to lead Iroquois West to the win at Fairbury.

Kyle Pool added 14 points and seven steals for the Raiders, who led 40-37 after three quarters. Ben Wall finished with nine points and seven rebounds.

At Monticello

Mt. Zion 83, Blue Ridge 46: Blue Ridge opened the Sages Holiday Hoopla with a loss to Mount Zion.

Nine Knights reached the scoring column led by Clint O'Neal's eight points.

Ridgeview 54, Tuscola 25: Ridgeview's defense forced 22 turnovers and held Tuscola to six points or fewer in each of the first three quarters to run away with a victory.

Dana Bose had a game-high 17 points and added five rebounds to lead the Mustangs (9-1). Bryce Powell had 12 points and three steals.

Blue Ridge 77, Neoga 67, OT: Michael Plunk was 16 of 18 from the free throw line and finished with 25 points as the Knights outscored the Indians 15-5 in overtime to rebound for the win.

Tucker Johnson added 16 points and 13 rebounds for Blue Ridge, which trailed 50-44 after three quarters before outscoring the Indians 18-12 in the final period to force overtime.

Jon Jones had 12 points for the Knights, while TJ Roy scored 42 to pace Neoga.

At Williamsville

Heyworth 55, Judah Christian 49: Elijah Bobell had 12 points and Cameron Fisk added 10 to lead second-seeded Heyworth to a quarterfinal victory in the Williamsville Holiday Tournament.

The Hornets took a 19-11 lead after the first quarter and played even with Judah Christian the rest of the way to advance to tonight's semfinals.

Tremont 63, Sherrard 44: Senior Blake Uhlman scored a game-high 29 points to help No. 4 seed Tremont cruise past Sherrard in quarterfinal play.

Lucas Gibson added 10 points for the Turks as they maintained solid leads at both the half (32-26) and third quarter (51-36).

Roanoke-Benson 48, Clinton 30: Brandon deFreese hit two 3-pointers in the second quarter on his way to a game-high 13 points, and Jason Bradle added 10 points to lead Roanoke-Benson to a victory.

The Rockets, who outscored Clinton 23-3 in the second quarter, advance to the consolation semifinals today.

At Marseilles

Woodland 46, Serena 31: Alex Miller led Woodland with 20 points and nine rebounds to push the Warriors to a pool play win over Serena at the Marseilles Holiday Tournament. Nate Roemer supplied 16 points as the Warriors outscored the Huskers 18-6 in the third quarter to break open the 17-17 halftime score.

GSW 64, Woodland 46: Woodland never recovered from a 29-18 first-quarter deficit as Gardner-South Wilmington claimed the pool play win. Nate Roemer had 14 points and Alex Miller added 10 as Woodland was hampered by foul trouble.

Hartsburg-Emden 69, Marquette 41: Cody Bolen had 16 points and six rebounds to help Hartsburg-Emden maintain the lead as the Stags downed Marquette.

The Stag trio of Robby Meeker (14 points), Zach Leonard (12), and Zach Ziemba (11) provided plenty of insurance for Hartem.
