Allianz Life Names Nancy Knutson as Director of Expense, Workforce Management and Reporting in Operations [Manufacturing Close – Up]

Allianz Life Insurance Company of North America promoted Nancy Knutson to director of Expense, Workforce Management and Reporting within the Operations division.

According to a release, in this role, Knutson is responsible for expense management, reporting and forecasting to support the operating areas of the company. She also oversees strategic expense planning for the Allianz Life Operations workforce. Knutson reports to Dave Thom, senior director of Operations Strategy.

"Nancy is a proven leader who brings expertise in strategic workforce management and financial consulting to the team," said Thom. "She is strongly committed to her work and helps us successfully deliver the best results for the customer."

Knutson joined Allianz Life in 2011 as a principal financial analyst where she implemented analysis and reporting for expense management within the Finance division. She also provided financial consulting for various functions across the company such as Operations, Compliance and Suitability. Prior to joining Allianz Life, Knutson worked for more than 20 years at Ameriprise Financial in Minneapolis. While at Ameriprise, she was a director in the Finance area where she led budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting for an annual budget of more than $640 million. Prior to that, she held various roles in the finance area, including manager, analyst, accountant and tax specialist.
