Agencyport Software, a provider of software and services to the global insurance and reinsurance industries, announced the immediate availability of Turnstile 1.7, the company's subscription carrier web service that takes in ACORD forms and returns ACORD XML for feeding point-of-sale, CRM or policy administration systems.
According to a release, a simple, ultra-secure complementary service to agent portal and agency interface, Turnstile shortens intake time, accelerates decision-making and reduces processing time and expense.
The company noted that with Version 1.7, Turnstile now supports 346 form editions for all major commercial lines of business including: BOP, Commercial Auto, Commercial Umbrella, Commercial Property, General, General Liability, Inland Marine, Workers Compensation and Overflow forms.
Further, Version 1.7 also includes enhancements to Turnstile's ability to read and process scanned forms, including:
-Intelligent image filter selection
-Improved border artifact removal
-Field-based contextual intelligence
"Agents continue to attach ACORD form PDFs to their carrier- bound emails. The burdensome task of manual rekeying slows carriers' response time and wastes resources," said Ken O'Sullivan, Turnstile Product Manager for Agencyport Software. "Turnstile is a game- changing tool for improved operating efficiency and ease of doing business. The ability to offer full support for Commercial Lines is an exciting and important milestone for Agencyport."
