Ace Names Renato Zotti as Head of Italian Consumer Lines Insurance Business [Professional Services Close – Up]

Ace Group announced the appointment of Renato Zotti as Director, Accident and Health, Life and Travel, Italy as it continues to invest in its consumer lines insurance propositions for the Italian market.
According to a release, the appointment takes place with immediate effect.
Renato, based in Milan, will report to Orazio Rossi, Country Manager for Ace in Italy and to Jose Luis Gomez, Director Accident and Health, Life and Travel for Ace in Southern Europe.
In this role, Renato will be responsible for managing the performance of Ace's Accident and Health, life and travel portfolios in Italy. He will also oversee business development initiatives, including the development of the life and travel insurance portfolios.
Renato joins Ace from ERV-Europaische Reiseversicherung AG, a member of the Munich Re Group, where he was Managing Director for Italy. Previously, he was Sales and Marketing Director for Italy at Mondial Assistance, part of the Allianz group.
Rossi said: "This appointment demonstrates ACE's commitment to meeting a broad range of consumer insurance needs in Italy. I am delighted that someone of Renato's experience is joining us to drive forward this important business segment. In particular, his extensive management experience and travel knowledge will be a real asset as we further build our travel insurance proposition."
