ACS Appoints Connie Harvey Group President of Business Process Solutions
DALLAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Affiliated Computer Services, Inc. (NYSE: ACS) has named Connie Harvey group president of the Business Process Solutions group overseeing ACS’ Commercial Healthcare, Insurance and Financial Services lines of business. She reports to Tom Blodgett, executive vice president and chief operating officer of ACS’ commercial operations.

Previously, Harvey was managing director of the Healthcare Payer and Insurance delivery unit for ACS, nearly tripling annual revenue in five years. As a result of Harvey's focus on quality, customers in the insurance and payer line of business now report the highest customer satisfaction levels in company history. While managing director, Harvey oversaw business development, technology development and client relationships. Healthcare Payer & Insurance Services supports more than 35 major payer and insurance organizations and nine of the top 10 payer companies. Harvey fueled strong growth by adding 16 new customer logos to the portfolio and nearly doubling revenues over the past three years.
An early adopter of utilizing offshore operations, Harvey spent 18 years in consulting and operations management in the Caribbean. She joined ACS in 2001 when ACS acquired National Processing Company in Montego Bay, Jamaica. Harvey graduated with distinction from Iowa State University with a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering.
In commercial healthcare, ACS touches the lives of nearly one in every three insured individuals in the United States and performs transactions for nine of the top 10 managed care health plans – a total of 250 million claims annually – providing 99.5 percent data quality and reducing processing costs by up to 50 percent.
