Ash Brokerage Issues Clarification To FBI News Release
NEWS RELEASE: ASH BROKERAGE
For immediate release: May 31, 2013
Fort Wayne, IN – It was recently reported that independent insurance agent William Edward Lowder, of Williamsburg, Mich., was sentenced to 60 months in prison for defrauding clients of more than $1 million of their savings as part of a wire fraud scheme.
News outlets reported that Lowder operated an office for Ash Brokerage. This information is false; although Lowder, as an independent insurance agent, had access to products offered through Ash Brokerage, he never operated an office for Ash Brokerage and he was never an Ash Brokerage employee.
Ash Brokerage is working with the FBI and U.S. Attorney’s office to correct the erroneous information contained in their press release.
Ash Brokerage is an independently owned company, based in Fort Wayne, Ind., with regional offices throughout the United States.
