2-Day Intro To Bitcoin Training Class Helps Business Professionals Understand Bitcoin

PR Web

Atlanta, GA (PRWEB) August 28, 2014

Ledet Training, a national chain of Adobe, Apple and Autodesk authorized software training centers, today announced that is has launched a 2-day, instructor led hands-on training course entitled "Introduction to Bitcoin for Professionals."

The two day class is designed for business managers and professionals who want to understand the business impact of Bitcoin and learn about using Bitcoin in their business. Attendees learn how to do business with Bitcoin including how and why to accept Bitcoin in their business, how to build and integrate Bitcoin friendly infrastructure and expertise, how to use Bitcoin to transfer value to and from vendors, supplies and customers, and how to use Bitcoin technology effectively as part of their business strategy.

The class is appropriate for business owners and leaders, managers, web developers, investors, and professionals interested in a quick and easy way to become competent and educated on Bitcoin technology.

"While media attention tends to focus on high-profile stories like the volatility in the virtual currencies price among traders, the news that doesn't gather as much attention is the story about how Bitcoin has been steadily growing as a trusted payment technology by billion-dollar companies such as Dell Computer, Overstock.com, Dish Network and Expedia as well as a tens of thousands of smaller technology literate companies around the world. As the technology has matured, more and more business leaders and small business owners are quietly getting on board," says Sterling Ledet, CEO of Ledet Training.

While Bitcoin has steadily gained traction, it remains confusing to most business professionals, even those directly involved in the departments it is impacting such as web development, sales and marketing, accounting and finance, risk management and legal.

The class is designed to provide understanding and clarity to both managers and employees involved in these disciplines so that both standard operating procedures and long-term business strategy can be created and improved. There's a heavy focus on best practices in the class including covering mistakes companies have made and successes others have had using Bitcoin technology.

"There is a lot to learn," says Ledet, "and while mistakes can be costly, those who implement the technology wisely and effectively in their business can gain a strong competitive advantage. Professionals in companies of all sizes need a simple way to learn the fundamentals of Bitcoin technology easily in a structured form so they can understand how to integrate the technology effectively as well as how this technology will impact them, their companies and the business landscape."

The syllabus for the classis available at the ledet.com website at http://www.ledet.com/courses/2432--Introduction-to-Bitcoin-Training-Class#course_outline. The class is currently offered at the Ledet headquarters in Atlanta as well as online in Ledet's virtual instructor-led classroom.

Upcoming 2014 dates for the 2 day class are October 6, October 20, November 10, and December 1.
