Finseca Foundation Announces New Business Coaching Designation
Washington, D.C. – April 14, 2021 – Today, the Finseca Foundation announced the launch of a new industry designation, the Finseca Foundation Certified Professional Business Coach (CPBC) designation. The CPBC designation ultimately helps financial security professionals lead their teams, lead their clients, and reinforces the crucial value of business coaching on vision, mission, goals, values, and effective business practices.
“A key pillar of the Foundation is to elevate the visibility and reputation of financial security professionals,” said Bonnie Godsman, President of the Finseca Foundation. “Another crucial pillar is our committed to providing the profession with educational and development opportunities that enhance their businesses. This new designation, the CPBC, will both elevate and educate advisors and managers in our profession as they lead their teams and work to serve their clients.”
The multi-day CPBC curriculum covers topics such as coaching fundamentals, strategic coaching models, deliverables of business coaching, group coaching, assessment tools, and common mistakes made by business coaches. The program culminates with a rigorous exam that confirms comprehension and application of coaching principles.
The Finseca Foundation CPBC Program is delivered as part of a partnership that includes Diversified Professional Coaching, LLC (DPC), and the Professional Business Coaching Alliance (PBCA).
“The Finseca Foundation CPBC designation will be the gold standard when it comes to coaching in the financial security profession, and we are proud to be part of the team that will help support the industry in this way,” said Jim Petersen PhD, CEO of DPC, and has more than 38 years coaching leaders in the financial security profession.
