Customized Life Insurance Saves Money

PR Newswire Association LLC

NORTHBROOK, Ill., July 18, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- You can customize new cars, smart phones and t-shirts. Why not demand the ability to customize your life insurance?

"Life insurance needs vary with your age, the ages of your children and your financial plans," said Don Civgin, president and chief executive officer of Allstate Financial. "If you can anticipate some of those needs, you no longer need to overbuy life insurance coverage. Allstate can now save you money through a more tailored term life insurance policy."

Allstate's True Term(SM) life insurance now enables customers to choose any coverage period from 10 to 30 years. For example, you might end the term in 17 years to coincide with the age you plan to retire. In addition, you can choose up to five optional "layers" of protection, which allows you to expand coverage during the periods you're most likely to need it, and decrease coverage during periods when you have less need for life insurance. For example, you might increase the life insurance amount by $250,000 until after your child graduates from college, resulting in lower premiums than if you had purchased the additional $250,000 in coverage for the entire length of the life insurance term. Only Allstate's True Term life insurance offers the ability to customize both the coverage period and the amount of coverage throughout the term.

To help its customers save money on True Term premiums, Allstate developed an innovative "total coverage pricing" model that is so unique, it has a patent pending. In addition, you may be able to save money by purchasing both auto and life insurance through Allstate. For more information about TrueTerm life insurance, visit www.myallstatefinancial.com/life-insurance/term-life-insurance.aspx.
