With One Week Left to Enroll In Health Insurance, Brown Alerts Ohioans to Free Help Signing Up
Today,
Ohioans can enroll or change their healthcare plan in a variety of ways:
* Online: Visit Healthcare.gov to apply and enroll online.
* By Phone: Call the Marketplace Call Center at 1-800-318-2596 with questions or to enroll over the phone.
* In-Person: Visit LocalHelp.HealthCare.gov or call the Marketplace Call Center at 1-800-318-2596 to obtain a list of assisters in northeast
"Of course we still have a lot to do to improve our healthcare system, and I'm ready to work with folks on both sides of the aisle to lower premiums and prescription drug costs," said Brown. "But free assistance sites like this one can help many Ohioans find cheaper coverage, right now, during open enrollment."
Since 2013, more than 900,000 Ohioans have obtained insurance coverage through the health law -- many for the first time. Last year, many Ohioans who shopped around for coverage were able to find cheaper coverage.
