Venus Williams fatal crash: Lawyers to inspect tennis star’s cellphone records
Williams' lawyers said Tuesday they will turn over her phone records from

Williams "may have been distracted and/or unnecessarily delayed in her reaction to applicable traffic signals and/or other surrounding traffic," the Barson family's lawyers wrote to the court last month. No other details were provided with the allegation.
Attorneys for Barson's estate also want a judge to order the physical inspection of Williams' mobile phones with passwords provided, and to ensure that Williams "refrain from altering or deleting" any data from the devices.
That request remains pending, Cunningham said, noting that such demands for records are "typical in all civil litigation."
Just before a hearing Tuesday, both sides reached the agreement on only the T-Mobile phone records and notified Palm Beach County Circuit Judge Cymonie Rowe.

After Williams entered the intersection and began driving north to the BallenIsles community where she lives, a
Police said Williams had to stop to prevent crashing into the Nissan. But then Williams' SUV was hit by the Barsons' westbound 2016 Hyundai Accent, which had a green light.

A police report listed Williams' speed as 5 mph and the Barsons' speed as 25 mph.
Experts for both sides have since retrieved data from "black boxes" in the cars, according to court-approved inspections.
Attorney
Williams, who was not injured, released a statement saying she was "devastated and heartbroken by this accident."
In her defense, her lawyers have asked the other side to turn over numerous records from Barson, including a copy of his will, and any life insurance policies, as well as marriage and medical records, for the last five years of his life.
